The 50th Anniversary Meeting of the British Association for Applied Linguistics will be hosted by the Centre for Language Education Research, University of Leeds, on 31 August - 2 September 2017. The theme of the conference focuses on the notion of diversity within the field of Applied Linguistics in a diversifying world.

Keynote Speakers will be:

Professor Henry Widdowson, Department of English, University of Vienna
Professor Bencie Woll, Director, Deafness Cognition and Language Research Centre, University College London.
Professor Mohamed Daoud, Professor of Applied Linguistics, Institut Supérieur des Langues de Tunis (S. Pit Corder Lecture).
