Facilities and equipment

The University of Leeds has a large range of facilities and equipment for language-related research and teaching. Our facilities include:

  • multiple language laboratories housing eye-tracking equipment, among other things
  • multiple digital recording studios
  • multiple audiology laboratories
  • an instrumental phonetics laboratory housing EPG and laryngographic equipment, among other things
  • a fully equipped psycho-acoustic laboratory
  • multiple conference interpreting laboratories
  • a self-access area for language learning and teaching
