Successful Northern Second Language Acquisition Roundtable

Congratulations to Dr Clare Wright for hosting a very successful Northern Second Language Acquisition (SLA) Roundtable at the University of Leeds last week, co-organised by Prof. Monika Schmid from the University of York.

The Northern SLA Roundtable brings together researchers from across the north of England to share their work related to second language acquisition, network and create joint opportunities. The event was attended by colleagues from Leeds, Newcastle, Sheffield and York, and there was a particular focus on supporting early-career colleagues. It was agreed to hold the roundtable regularly from now on, and the next one will take place at the University of York next year.
