Leeds Working Papers in Linguistics and Phonetics
The Leeds Working Papers in Linguistics and Phonetics is an occasional series produced by the Department of Linguistics and Phonetics at the University of Leeds. Its main aim is to publicise research being carried out by staff and students in the Department. We are also pleased to include contributions from members of cognate Departments of the University (in this volume from English and Italian) and from neighbouring institutions (the University College of Ripon and York St. John, and the Leeds Metropolitan University).
