NEW VOICES, NEW PERSPECTIVES - LCS POSTGRADUATE RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2019

Date
Date
Friday 3 May 2019
Location
08:30 - 17:30 Research Training Room 1 Level 13 Edward Boyle Library

The theme for this year’s LCS PGR conference, “New Voices, New Perspectives”, reflects the ground-breaking research currently being undertaken by postgraduate research students across the school. Whether it’s taking new methodological approaches, uncovering unheard stories or making new theoretical developments, the wide-ranging research interests of LCS PGRs all have one thing in common: originality. As such, the aim of the conference this year is to provide a platform for our PGRs to share and discuss their on-going research projects with fellow students and researchers. Speakers will present current issues in translation studies, language teaching and interculturality and give the audience an insight into new ways of thinking about literature, language use and identity.
