Abstracts - Big Data and Language
Modern linguistic research greatly benefits from Big Data, since we now have unprecedented access to texts produced in different contexts by people of different backgrounds in different languages. The talk will discuss curation of automatically acquired linguistic resources via text annotation for related languages.
