Monthly Lunchtime Research Discussions

Date

Language at Leeds will be running a monthly lunchtime research discussion meeting over the academic year to explore interdisciplinary approaches to language research and look at innovative ways of collaboration. Meetings will be led by language researchers from across the University. Suggestions for presenters are welcome!

The first research discussion meeting took place on Wed 18th June 12-13.00, in Ziff 12.20, led with a presentation by Ekaterini Klepousniotou, Institute of Psychological Sciences, on Hemispheric contributions to figurative language processing.

The next meeting will take place on 24th September, and will be led by Ruth Swanwick from Education (LHRI Seminar Room 2). Ruth works on deafness, language learning and the development of practitioner understanding and pedagogies.
